I’m Chetan Sharma, a Psychiatric Social Worker with an M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work from the Institute of Mental Health, Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak. Over the past four years, including my work at PGIMS, Rohtak and AIIMS Rishikesh, I’ve supported individuals and families navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, severe mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and OCD, and issues related to suicide prevention and rehabilitation. My therapeutic approach is *client-centered and holistic*, integrating emotional, social, and environmental factors that shape mental health. I believe in creating a space where *people feel heard, understood, and empowered* to work through their struggles at their own pace. Each session focuses on understanding, not just the symptoms but the story behind them, helping individuals rebuild meaning, resilience, and hope.
